Council Positions up for Election: Council Members for Ward 2, Ward 3, and Ward 5

Candidate Open Filing Period: July 22, 2017 - August 21, 2017 at 5:00 p.m.
The City Secretary’s Office is open Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The City Secretary’s Office will begin accepting applications for a place on the General Election ballot on Monday, July 24, 2017.

Last Day to Apply for Ballot by Mail (Received, not Postmarked): October 27, 2017 (Friday)

Details for Early Voting
Early voting by personal appearance will be held as follows: Monday, October 23, 2017 to Friday, November 3, 2017 at times set by Bowie County Elections Office.

Early Voting will be held at the following two locations:

Bowie County Courthouse (1st Floor – Lounge)
710 James Bowie Drive; New Boston, TX 75570


Bi-State Justice Center Building (West Side – Entrance)
100 No. State Line Avenue; Texarkana, TX 75501
