Program Description:

The Department of Planning and Zoning is responsible for the processing of zoning cases, variances to the Zoning Ordinance, street and alley abandonments, subdivision plat review, and annexation requests. In the area of zoning enforcement, this department notifies property owners when a zoning violation has occurred or violations within a planned development designation.

Program Focus

This Department will focus on amending the Zoning Ordinance so as to promote the orderly growth and expansion of the City and the continued implementation and revision of the Comprehensive Plan.
